Description:

A small Regency rosewood timepiece in a small chamfered top case veneered with well figured rosewood with brass stringing.

The break arch brass dial with silvered finish has Roman chapters and the maker’s signature beneath.

The single fusee timepiece movement has anchor escapement.

Thwaites and Reed were a well known partnership principally making movements for other London clockmakers.  They are recorded as having worked in London from 1808 to 1840.
