Description:

A late 18th century George III mahogany bracket clock of fine quality by this eminent maker who succeeded Emery in Cockspur Street.

The mahogany case with a triple moulded brass mounted pad top to the break arch case, a full opening door with fretwork and brass scale frets to the side panels.

The enamel dial with typical "Recordon" style numerals and signed, Recordon, Late Emerys, London.

The eight-day double fusee movement with anchor escapement, a calibrated pendulum, rack striking and  hour repeat.  The backplate signed by the maker and with strike/silent control.
