Description:

An important grande sonnerie carriage clock with astronomical complications in a gilt gorge case.

The white enamel dial, with aperture to view the phase of the moon, is set within a gilt engraved mask with three subsidiary dials in the lower section, indicating the day of the week, alarm and day of the month. 

The eight day duration movement, with the hours and quarters and alarm sounded on gongs, includes an exceptionally high quality platform lever escapement.
